It is a great blessing to see the word of God and then,through our Savior Jesus and by the Holy Spirit, participate in the familybusiness—the Kingdom of God!

The very character of our Abba Father, Savior Jesus, andHoly Spirit is to Father and Husband over orphans and widows. It is such aprivilege to participate by helping them especially in places where they aresuffering like the Democratic Republic of Congo. Having said that, I am goingto introduce you to some special widows who have suffered under war, rape,poverty, famine, and disease, yet they are our sisters in Jesus and have Hisjoy in their hearts! They are also providing a way for us to participate in thefamily business. They have made purses that when sold help provide for them inthis wilderness of life in the DR Congo. The women who make these bags, make them in primitive harshconditions in DR Congo with loving care on a treadle sewing machine, outside ofBukavu in an area particularly hard hit by roving militias and the effects ofwar and neglect.

She walked long distances five days-a-week for over a year tolearn how to sew, and is now continuing to work hard so she can support afamily and send her children to school. She's not looking back, she'slooking forward and she's trying to make a change.

The efforts of these womenare a tremendous encouragement to those around them. We're seeing threegroups of people benefited-the seamstresses, the cloth merchant mamas, and, thewomen who make the batik and sell it to the cloth merchants mamas. In the midst of the worst famine and drought in 60 years in East Africa and while 3,000,000 are threatened by it, and the largest refugee camp in the world is in East Africa, we have good news!

Our Savior has established an orphan facility through our church and this ministry in the midst of this horror. Every day fifty five orphans are being fed four times daily, they are going to school, learning the Bible, being trained as disciples of Jesus Christ, and we are going to minister to them in September!

Lord willing I am meeting with the Rwandan Government to establish another orphan work in Rwanda---the Rwanda Gospel Village! You may remember that Rwanda suffered a horrible genocide in 1994 where 1,000,000 people were killed in 100 days! This little country of 10,000,000 people has 1,000,000 orphans and vulnerable children.

Lord willing I will be meeting with about fifty key Pastors who will help us when we go back in March to meet with hundreds of Pastors. For what purpose? In June 2012 we have approval from the Mayor of Goma (the rape capitol of the world) to hold a week long outdoor gospel event at the local soccer stadium. The genocide spilled from Rwanda into the DRC where almost 6,000,000 men, women, and children have been killed. Prayerfully, the Lord will lay the groundwork for this June event in September.

In this report I will give a brief teaching and then an important report of a Muslim who recently became a former Muslim as he has received King Messiah Jesus and repented of Islam.

Exodus 15: 23And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.24And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? 25And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, 26And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. 27And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

There is much I could discuss with this passage, but I am going to focus on the tree. Why you might ask? The water was bitter and the Lord made it sweet, but how? The tree thrown into the bitter water made it sweet and so it is today. The bitter waters of this world of sin are killing the sojourners of this earth. Israel was beginning their sojourn through the wilderness and had they drank that bitter water it would have killed them.

The Bible teaches: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

What did Abba give his Son to do? He gave Him to the inhabitants of the world to die on the tree!

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:14-15

Our Abba in heaven threw His Only Begotten Son into the sinful waters of the world that we might have the sweetness of forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Him today as we sojourn in the wilderness! Hallelujah for the grace of Abba and for the Only Begotten of the Father full of grace and truth! Now, once saved, we must keep the commands of our Lord Jesus and walk in His ways. As we trust our Savior even in the wilderness He will give us the water that will keep us from thirsting!

There has been an amazing development in a story from one of the ministries we support in Kenya.

Ben Bahati is a great Pastor whose church was demolished and the brothers and sisters were heartbroken. The Lord has intervened and there is an article that explains.

Please pray for this brother and the church. The work he does is truly KINGDOM and his testimony is authentic. He has planted many churches, preaches to thousands at outdoor events where people are saved and healed, feeds the poor, runs orphanages---he is an incredible dynamo for our Lord Jesus!

Brother John and some of the brothers working with his ministry have sent Bibles, literature explaining Israel in Bible prophecy, and teachings on how to reach Muslims to Pastor Ben. Brother Ben has also done much work amongst the Muslims in Kenya.

We met with Pastor Ben last December in Kenya and spent some quality time working with him in our orphan ministry. Now we are rejoicing to see wrongs against him made right. Please pray that our Savior Jesus is lifted up and the church building is not only restored, but built back better than ever!

It is an honor to serve with Pastor Ben and we will see the glory of the Lord in this I am quite sure!

Hello Dear Followers of our Savior Jesus!

At the end of this report I will give a brief update and news article of our work in the DR Congo.

But mostly I will present a report from our ministry partner Lassina who works in the Lord’s field in Burkina Faso, a mostly Animast/Muslim country. It is a blend of witchcraft and Islam. He is a brilliant brother who is trained in Bible translation and is teaching the people to read by using the books of the Bible he and his team have translated into their tribal language.

He also will be sharing about his work with the Dorcas house—a place of refuge for women fleeing forced marriage to Muslim men.

Additionally, one of the big problems we have been addressing in Muslim areas is the deception of calling Jehovah by the name of Allah in Bible translation and teaching, The American Bible translators and missionaries have done much damage in this area.

My wife and I, are grateful to God for our Dorcas’ home project. We already have a big ground, 4 hectares ( 10 acres). We were able to buy this ground last months with your contribution. I started this report with 1 Corinthians 3:8-9, I would like to tell you that God will reward you for your donation.

I asked an architect to make a plan that will be ready soon. With this plan, the builder will evaluate the cost of the building. You will receive the plan of Dorcas’ home next report.

Let me share with you what I done this last term. I visited six ethnics groups where Bible translation is doing. As I am a National Bible translation coordinator with Burkina faso Wycliffe, I visited six Bible translation projects in order to help and encourage Bible translators to go ahead. These project are doing literacy and Bible translation. This work will impact the ethnic group and we are sure that many people will receive Christ through this work. I already got an opportunity to share with some pastors who are using Dioula Bible in the church. So we talked about the word ‘Allah’ which is inappropriated word for God. Some pastors said that heard about this word, they are trying to call God, the Creator but it is not easy as they do it out of habit. They need prayers.

Our visits also offered us an opportunity to visit literacy classes where people are learning how to read and write in their own language. It is amazing to see how enthousiasm women are ready to know how to write and read in their own language.

As those literacy learners are smiling, we hope with our Dorca’s home project for which we praying to be able to build soon if we gather means for that. This is a plan of Dorcas home and this house will be built among Dogosse people where we count around 100 christians (adults and children). We use to share Gospel with Dogosse people but their heart is still tough. We have to continue in sowing the Word of God. Go has a plan for Dogosse people, it is like the parable of Sower in Luke 8.5-15. In Dogosse area, there are some people who heard about Jesus but they don’t accept Him. There are some who said, it is good news and they said Jesus is a good way unfortunately they don’t take a good decision to follow him forever as their Savior. There some dogosse people who accept Jesus as a Savior, they believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away and abandon. There are other Dogosse people around 100 persons who accept Jesus retain the Word, by persevering produce a crop. Dogosse people needs your prayers.

I remarked that Dogosse non christians allow their children to attend Sunday service. Maybe because their children are still young. I ask prayers for Dogosse children as they are hearing about Jesus. Pray also for Dogosse adults for salvation.

Regarding the Congo: we are praying about a stadium event. We may see over a hundred thousand people come to this event and hear the Gospel. Please pray that we may be able to do this in 2012. Here is an article that reminds us of the suffering of the precious souls in the Congo.

The Ministry Of Jesus Christ:
Luke 4: 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Approximately three years ago John McTernan came to Houston, TX to minister the Word of God. While there he came with a teaching that led to a breakthrough in a person’ life who is a very close friend. This stronghold caused a debilitating anger and frustration that literally controlled this dear soul in painful ways. Well, I began to study the passages above that are the scriptures for this powerful and chain-breaking teaching. You see, we must be reminded that satan came to steal, kill, and destroy. First he killed us all by tempting and enslaving Adam and Eve (Romans 5:12). Due to this historical reality all are born dying and on their way to hell. Next the devil uses this fallen world and its fallen people to break our hearts into splinters that no man except One can fix. Once someone has a shattered heart they are then the catalyst for demons’ service to break other hearts. It is this simple---HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE. That is why a sexually abused child often grows up to do the same to children. That is why angry hurt people marry angry hurt people and raise angry hurt children. This generation is one who has been so banged up by the devil and hurt people that they are easy prey for the jailers of souls---demon spirits. This is why so many in America are miserable even though they have more medication, money, houses, cars, etc. than most who have ever lived on planet earth. But there is a Man who lived that has the power to undo all of this destruction. Hence, the ministry of Jesus Christ! Messiah Jesus came with the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to save our souls from hell! But why do so many Christians still have broken hearts and strongholds? It is because they have yet to receive the rest of the ministry of Jesus Christ that comes after the gospel. Once saved we need to come to our Savior and ask Him to also be our Great Physician. We need Him to heal our broken hearts and deliver us from bondage. We must SIMPLY in faith ask Doctor Jesus Christ (He is our great Physician) to heal our broken hearts and guess what---HE WILL! Then the prison doors fly open and the demons flee! Here is where we begin to draw near to our Father in heaven and hear from the Holy Spirit! Here is where real life changing deliverance and a new season comes. Here are streams of life---the living waters of Jesus Christ!

Our Lord Jesus sent me with this teaching to Rwanda and the DR Congo and hundreds heard this life changing message and the miraculous results were glorious! Many came forward for prayer to ask that Dr. Jesus Christ would heal their broken hearts. Men and women came forward with testimonies of physical healing as well as the deliverance from the pain and struggles associated with unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred, all stemming from a broken heart. He put their hearts back together, and they are better than new! When I got into our rental car our driver told me he was listening and gave testimony that his heart was healed from a horrible situation that took place years earlier. Dear One—man, woman, or child reading this message today, He wants to do this for you. You see, NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD---He is not in the grave---HE IS RISEN and ready to minister Luke 4 to you now! Simply ask Him to save you from your sins and commit to turn away from them---that is to repent. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose again, and commit to follow Him! Contact myself or John McTernan for the next step. Ask our Lord Jesus to heal your broken heart and to set you free from your personal strong holds---anything that has a strong hold on you. And praise and thank our Lord Jesus for setting you free!!!

Greetings and Praise King Jesus,

The purpose of this article is to give glory to our great God and Savior Jesus Christ for all He did in Rwanda and the DR Congo March 12-26 during our mission trip! The Holy Spirit sent by our gracious Father was working so effectively that I have broken the testimony into a few parts. This one is to explain the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the distribution of His glorious and Holy Word! His word is so powerful and that is why satan does not want it in people’s hands. There were so many who prayed to receive the Savior in the churches and streets during this Kingdom advancing effort! Children to adults, men and women, and mostly those who are in extreme and painful poverty, hunger, and struggling day to day for survival. Yet this Savior is revealing our Father in heaven to them in greater measure that they may feed upon His faithfulness! We saw approximately 200 pray to receive the Savior on this trip, most of whom (Lord willing) will come into fellowship in these churches under the Pastors with whom we work.

Bible Distribution: The women in these countries are often so badly treated including rape and servitude. Some have told us that they have been told they are worthless and are treated like property not precious souls. Well, it is true these precious daughters of the Lord are property---property of King Messiah Jesus as they have been bought by His precious and spotless blood! So, six ladies who went with us ministered life to them and distributed about 250 Bibles to the daughters of Zion! They were so happy they clapped their hands and rejoiced with voices of triumph collectively in such a manner that I believe demons may have been trembling at the prospect of these lady prisoners of war becoming unshackled to go forth and plunder the Kingdom of darkness for the King of Light—Jesus Christ!

Please pray for those who have been saved to pursue true discipleship and for the ladies to be set free to serve the Lord in His mighty power! Please pray that they hunger and thirst for righteousness so they may be filled with the Holy Spirit who will freely give them good gifts from our Abba Father! Lord willing, next week I will post about the ministry of Jesus Christ in Luke 4:18 first shown to me by John McTernan and how the Lord anointed this teaching to save the lost, heal the broken hearted, and set many captives free in the churches in Africa in March.

March 12-26 Rwanda/ Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Mission Report

This glorious Savior was so very high and lifted up on this trip and did so much that I will share this mission report in three or four weekly segments.

Today will be the report of David Lewi, son of Pastor Muhoza Lewi, who has been up to great work amongst the Muslims in Rwanda!

It all started as John McTernan spoke to his friend Jeff about sending gospel tracts to Rwanda in French and Swahili. They were sent to Pastor Lewi who gave many of them to his son David.

David then began taking them to the local Muslim school and sharing them with the students. Just as you would expect the Muslim leaders ran him off and you would think that would be the end of the story---but not according to this glorious Savior who loves these precious souls! David began meeting with the students outside of the school and they began coming to Jesus Christ! It gets better.

The Muslim leaders decided it would be better to know who the students were who were getting saved so they could talk with them and try to keep them, than for them to be meeting in secret---so guess what they did? They set up an office for David Lewi at the school where he now freely and openly shares the gospel with the Muslim students. Have you ever heard or thought of such and thing?

That is what our Abba does, exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ask or think!

So, John and Jeff are keeping the Bibles and tracts coming and we will keep reaching them for Jesus Christ as long as He keeps the door open. Please pray for David’s anointing and those hearing the gospel through this work to be saved.

Next week I will be sharing about our ministry of handing out Bibles, preaching the gospel, and precious souls who have come into the Kingdom just at the edge of time before the coming of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ!

Hello Followers of Jesus Christ our Great God and Savior ! It is with great pleasure I am introducing in this update a great ministry partner amongst the Muslims in W. Africa. We call him Lassina and he is precious to the Lord. Here is his introduction in his own words :

Lassina and Ina, working among dogosse people in Burkina Faso, West Africa:

Dear ones,

My wife Ina and I Balagassina (short name : Lassina), are grateful to God for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well. We are presently doing the ministry of Bible translation with our National Bible Translation Organisation ANTBA. We coordinate 16 Bible translation projects. Thus we share our time between two locations, Ouagadougou and Dogosse area. Moreover we share gospel with dogosse people in the villages.

The dogosse people are about 45000 persons and most of them are moslems and animists. However there are some young churches with about 150 christians. As we use to share gospel with dogosse people, the problem which confrontes us is how to deal with the new believers who are forced to flee as their parents persecute them. In the dogosse area also, the young girls are forced to marriage so they flee and come to church for finding a shelter.

Facing these problems, I prayed the Lord for help and He put in my heart the burden to welcome people in difficulties in a shelter where they can stay, hear the Word of God, give themselves to Jesus, become mature in faith, learn craft like carpentry, sewing, breeding animals, weaving, masonry, how to make soap and so on. Thus I built a small house and when I finished the house, the mayor of the village told me that it is a good project but It must be better if I had built it to an appropriated area. For the mayor the place I built the house will not be put in plot as it is reserved to become a communal forest. I was discouraged but with prayer I understood that satan is against my project. Here is the first house I built.

Recently I went to my village and looked for an appropriated place about 7 hectares. I am praying to God to be able to buy the place and start my project. It costes 1500 000 FCFA about 3000$. I already have 1/3 of the cost (500 000 FCFA or 1000$). My first step for accomplishing my project is to buy the land, the second step is to build houses, the third is to equip the houses and the last is to do the work by receiving people. It will be an evangelical training school with dorcas home inside. If it is God’s will I am planning to receive orphans and widows in it in the future.

Pray for me as I am planning to finish the New Testament in my mother tongue in 3 years and thus be free to do this ministry among dogosse people. Before the beginning of this ministry, I have to build houses and equip them.

I don’t want to do my will but God’s will. I am confident to the Scriptures which said in Psalm 127 : 1 that "Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain…"

Pray for us and for pastor Don who came twice in our area to train dogosse christians, strenghten them for sharing gospel among dogosse people. We are praying to God for a such opportunity this year.

Pray also for my family, as we are waiting for a baby at the end of February. Pray also for the checking of the gospel of Matthew we will have in February with a Bible consultant.

Pray for dogosse churches and for dogosse ethnic group for salvation.

The Union has 134 planted churches. The Union is committed in evangelism and church planting according to the great commission in Matthew 28: 19-20, and it is working in North Kivu, South Kivu, and Maniema Provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Union of Baptist churches is located in eastern of the DR Congo, a difficult place where war and insecurity destroyed everything. The consequences of it is that many orphans, widows, and maimed persons are seen everywhere without any assistance, and they do not have hope to live.

The union with its little means tried to help widows and orphans but it is insignificant, only 24 orphans are supported by Don Schwarz and they are attending schools, while others are crying for help.

After resembling reports from local churches, the following is the statistics:

· Local churches: 134 (adding 9 new planted in 2010)

· Total members: 12,731 (not including students in primary and secondary schools)
· Primary schools: 14 (Christian school)
· Secondary schools: 4 (Christian school)

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1.Pray for orphans and widows in their difficulties to have means to survive.

2. Pray for the Union to have supporters to help to rehabilitate schools, to build orphanages home, build health centers, and Goma Baptist seminary…

3. Pray for pastors to have sponsorship, and tools (bibles) for the ministry.

4. Pray for peace in this part of the DR Congo.

5. Pray for believers to be faithful and prayerful for those who are not yet believe in Jesus Christ.

6. Pray for pastors and laymen school fees.

7. Pray for discipleship training program.

Why are we called Poured Out For Africa?

When the Apostle Paul was incarcerated in Rome he did not want the fledgling Philippian church to be discouraged by his situation. He even told them that he was not Rome’s prisoner, but the Lord’s. And that it was an honor to pour out his life for the faith of those in Philippi.

That is the reason for the name of our ministry. When I and others with me go to Africa we often don’t know from where the Lord will bring the money or how He will give us the time, but we hear His voice and pray and plan to go. We leave our families to the Lord and praying partners and go. We get on planes and fly for 22-40 hours (one way) and just go. Who will the Lord seat us next to, will they be open to the gospel or even speak English, but we just go. Will we be able to not weep when we see the orphan children who often are taking care of other children, or as in some cases, the dogs, pigs, and people picking through the same garbage for food, but we just go. Will our jet lag knock us down for the first few days or will we be up and running fast, but we just go. Will the plans we have be the right ones or another zip code away from what the Holy Spirit has in mind, or will we be called to do something that we would have never considered like the ladies who went with us that manicured the toe and finger nails of the ladies who had been brutalized in the genocide in Rwanda (many of whom had HIV and rarely shower and often do not wear shoes) but what-----you got it-----we just go! Will the Lord ask me to stand in the street and draw a crowd to preach the gospel, and like in Northern Ethiopia, will they threaten to stone me, but HALLELUJAH WE JUST GO!!!

Why do we go? BECAUSE WE LOVE BEING POURED OUT UPON THE SACRIFICE AND SERVICE OF THEIR FAITH IN AFRICA!

New Year’s Greetings In King Jesus’ Name!

I am so thankful to begin this New Year with a great report from our anointed ministry partner Pastor Habimana in the DR Congo! I was just with him during my trip to Rwanda and my what a glorious time we had there! I have just received this report and share it with you for the glory of the LORD! I am not going to edit his English so as to maintain the authentic flavor of the message. May we see Kingdom fruit from our lives in 2011!

Greetings from Dr Congo. It is with pleasure that I would like to share with you the goodness of our almighty God. We started our training on 27th December which ended this afternoon. 23 evangelists attended our seminar. It was joy to be with them during these three days learning how to win souls to our master Jesus Christ using F A I T H as tools. It was new to them where there were curious and followed us attentively. The new strategy of witnessing people was very well appreciated. Testimonies from evangelists.

Evangelist David said: Thanks to our teachers; they give us the best tools to win souls to Jesus. Our churches were not growing because we didn’t have strategy for evangelism.

Evangelist Emmanuel said: We thank so much God because we were trained for the ministry and we have now tools (bibles)

Evangelist Muhasha said, God bless you for equipping us with the strategy of evangelism.etc..Under rains our students went for practice and won 30 new believers who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior while 8 persons joined the church. There were backslide. But we faced problem of transport for instructors and for students. This has been a big issues to those who attend our training coming far from the organized centre.I will send to you the calendar of our training of the coming year 2011, so that you may have time to pray for it.There is a good news which I need to share with you, on the Christmas day, in the whole Union of Baptist churches we baptized 751 new believers. Please join us to thank God for the harvest.

Kenya December 2010-HIV Orphan Healing!

There is much I will share about my recent trip to Rwanda and Kenya later, but in this report I will exclusively give glory to our Savior Jesus for His healing hand of mercy upon two orphans in Kenya.

Our team was on our way to an orphan facility we support in a rural village in Kenya. There are 108 orphans in this place. During our drive, one of our companions, who is a powerful pastor, church planter, disciple maker, orphan caregiver, and recording artist was giving us counsel about many things in Kenya. He spoke of a 25,000 persons gospel event he had preached recently. There a man was carried in on a stretcher and walked out upon hearing a word from the Lord given from this pastor. I then told our brother that I desired to see more power from the Lord in my ministry and asked him for prayer. Little did I know how quickly this prayer would be answered.

We arrived that day and HIV testing was being conducted on all of the orphans. I was later told that some would expect that out of 108 orphans in Kenya up to half would be found HIV positive. Things were going so well and none of the children were testing positive until the end.

At this critical point we were informed that, as I understood it, one child had tested positive. One of the deacons from our church and I began to pray fervently for healing, forgiveness, mercy, and full restoration for this precious little soul! Then they tested the child a second time and the test was negative, and then a third and the test was NEGATIVE-NO HIV!

There is more, and this deals with the scoffers who would attribute this to a faulty first test. Due to privacy and discrimination regarding HIV in Africa we were not informed anything about this child and I wanted a little information for this report. So I contacted the administrator of the facility to ask if he could at least tell me if it was a boy or girl that was healed. He then told me through a strong Swahili English accent “Pastor Don, you must have misunderstood, it was a boy and a girl that were healed. There were two that had tested HIV positive before you prayed and two were healed!” And to demonstrate that it was not faulty testing he told me this: “The same testing was used the next day on the staff and three of them tested positive for the first, second, and third test. Pastor Don, we have seen a miracle!”

Oh give glory to our Savior Jesus, as He answered our prayer and showed us His mighty power by healing these precious children from the “incurable” disease HIV! He truly has healed all our diseases and forgiven all our sins!

Please pray for me as I am in Africa being poured out for the faith of those whom the Lord loves in Africa! What a great privilege to serve our Savior Jesus amongst a people so open to the gospel and so needy for the Savior! I will be in Rwanda and Kenya December 4-19 preaching the gospel, making disciples, and ministering to orphans and widows---Hallelujah!

I will be working in Rwanda with Pastor Muhoza Lewi and our Congolese partner Pastor Athanase Habimana will come from neighboring DR Congo to greet me and pray for the work. Below is the latest update from Pastor Habimana who is an end times dynamo for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ---glory to His name!

Greetings ffrom Goma: After being ok last week I organised a seminar of evangelists for three days from 25th up 27th: I was teaching them about FAITH and its explanation; How to witness; and practice: The 10 local churches of Hekima sent their evangelists and Hekima provided food and transportation:

It was very interesting as they knew how to do evangelism using the Key Question: In your opinion what takes a person to go to heaven?

At the end of the training 36 participants witnessed 78 persons; and everyone back home saying that they are ready to plant new churches: Thank you for your prayers and finacial contribution: All of them received bibles as the tools for the ministry:

Rural Village in DR Congo April 2010:

This is an updated report from one that we shared earlier as we have discovered pictures not yet seen.

Earlier this year our team went to the DR Congo to minister the word of life. Our church planting partner Pastor Habimana led us to a rural village not far from a semi-active volcano. We knew as we approached the small congregation that we were in for a special time in the Spirit of the Lord Jesus! We were greeted by maidservants of the Lord who danced and sang to the Savior upon our arrival. The joy of the Lord was so very unique and powerful---why shouldn’t it be since the joy of the Lord is our strength?

As we entered into the church, which in terms of the building was a ceiling of tree limbs reaching to the sky tied to plastic tarps and the earth for flooring, we knew the Holy Spirit was there with us to point us to our Lord Jesus! Plastic chairs were our seats with an old table for a pulpit. But oh dear ones, the building isn’t the church---the church is the Holy Spirit filled followers of Jesus Christ, and they truly are the church in this village!

This congregation was primarily made up of widows. You see, they are survivors of the Hutu militia that first came to their village when they crossed the Rwanda/DR Congo border after killing one million civilian men, women, and children in 1994.

The Hutu army then killed their husbands and others and brutalized many of these women and some of their children. There are also men who migrated there later or survived the attack.

It is striking to me how much they have suffered, how much poverty of earthly things in which they languish, yet HOW MUCH JOY THEY HAVE THAT WE DO NOT!!!

When I was watching one man worship the Holy Spirit showed me that this dear servant of Jesus had been places in the Spirit that have amassed him a wealth that I knew not of.

During our time together I preached and was humbled and broken and felt a great need for them to preach to me. But they were preaching to me---you see, their very lives were preaching and penetrating my heart with the things of heaven!

Well, the Lord anointed and blessed my feeble efforts of sharing His glorious word and some of the precious souls who had not yet been born again were saved by King Messiah Jesus. When the time came to leave, our hearts were full and a special time of fellowship was had by all.

A few weeks later we received a tragic report from Pastor Habimana and then read about it on internet news wires.

That volcano in the area combined with an overflowing river from rains spewed a sea of mud that covered our little village and killed about four of the ladies to whom we had just not a month ago ministered during our special day. I have posted an article about the flood.

Our hearts were broken and we sent some money to help with the restoration efforts. Those from our team prayed for the mercy of the Lord upon these special ones.

But I cannot help but think of something; I wonder if any of those who prayed to receive Jesus that day for the first time were amongst the four that were killed? Could it be that He sent us there to prepare them for heaven? Either way, think of the kindness of the Lord to send us to them that day with His love and, in some way I cannot help but believe, to prepare their hearts for the trouble that was coming.

We must remember that Jesus told us we would have tribulation in the world, but to be of good cheer as He has overcome the world (Jn 16:33).

We have received never before seen pictures of that trip to the DRC. They are glorious!

Pastor Ouatarra Bagalassin (Lassina): Burkina Faso-The Dogossee People

Ouatarra Bagalassina (Lassina) is an amazing man the Lord has chosen as a vessel of honor!
The miraculous way we were introduced to him through much prayer and fasting is a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit!

When we arrived to Burkina Faso we were told that we would not find someone to speak English to us in a remote part of a Western African country called Burkina Faso. And that we had little hope of being able to communicate with any of the unreached Muslim people groups as we were asking the Lord which one He wanted us to engage. We had been praying before leaving and the Lord raised up Lassina by introduction through a missionary who speaks five languages including English. He has a Master’s degree in linguistics.

He is one of the approximately 300 believers of the 40,000 Dogossee (Doe Go Say) people who are Muslim/Animists. He has created the written language for the Dogossee, translates books of the Bible into their language, and teaches the Muslims to read by teaching these books of the Bible---PRAISE OUR GREAT KING MESSIAH JESUS!

We go to Burkina Faso and teach the believing Dogossee people how to reach their people with the gospel and then go out with them into the villages! Here is a picture of Pastor Don preaching in Burkina Faso:

Hello Pastor Don,

Thank you so much for your prayers. This month I was so busy with some books of the Gospel we had to check. with a consultant. We thank God that we checked well Galatians, Titus, 1 and 2 Timothy in 2 weeks. We are going in progress the Bible translation, we have already finished the following books: Genesis, some portions of Exodus, Deuteromy, Mark, Luk, John, Jame, Acts, Galatians, Titus, 1 and 2 Timothy and soon Matthew. Praise the Lord! Thank you for your prayers.

I am presently in Ouaga, at the end of this month, I will go to Banfora and the village to see the mayor about land in order to have a big place for building houses for my project I told you in the past. As I am working among muslims, I remarked sometimes the young people are opened to the Gospel but as they depend to their parents, they are afraid to give themselves to Jesus. Girls are facing up to forced marriage, their resort is church but very often, church cannot take care.

I received the burden to build a training house like Dorcas' Home which can welcome girls facing up to forced marriage, boys and girls who are persecuted and don't have home because they became christians. As, it is difficult to welcome people without means, how to feed them? In my mind I think why not open Evangelical school where people will pay for classes and the money can be used to welcome people in difficulties in Dorcasse' home, train them in charpentry, mechanics, masonry (concrete), breeding, farming, sewing, weaving, making soap and so on. I have already build a home (See the file I attached) but I need a bigger land to be able to accomplish my project. I talked with the mayor, and he thinks it is a big and good project which will develop the community. So, he allow es me to see the office which will help me fto find a big land. I think if I am able to build an Evangelical secondary school with Dorcasse' home inside, it will also help to share gospel with youth and it can have an impact in the community. This is my burden and I need your advise, your insight.

I have a bad or good news. It was not in my plan but God knows all things. There was a changing in my work location since the beginning of October. Let me tell you that my National Bible Organization nominated me as a National Bible Coordinator for about 15 Bible Translation Projects. They asked me to stay in Ouagadougou in order to be able to coordinate the 15 languages projects. I am presently in Ouagadougou with my family but per month I have to spend one week with my own project located in Banfora. I am in Ouagadougou not by my will. I hope and I am praying for a short time service here, as I have a burden to fulfil in area. If by God will I am able to fulfill my burden which is to build Dorcasse training center in my village, my family and me will go back to banfora or in the village. Who knows God's will. Pray for me.

I was introduced to Pastor Lewi during a season of prayer and revelation pertaining to the suffering of the DR Congo. Pastor Lewi is a Congolese Tutsi who left the Congo to help the orphans and widows in Rwanda after the genocide in 1994. Since 2006 we have been working with him in Rwanda and the Congo. He preaches the gospel, makes disciples, plants churches, and takes care of orphans and widows along with ministering to his family of many children and a precious wife. He also speaks five languages. His English is broken and somewhat difficult to discern, but I have left his words in tact and would recommend that you carefully read this glorious report he sends from Rwanda. Be blessed as you hear the Holy Spirit’s operation through this servant of Jesus Christ! I will add parenthesis to help.

Greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord and God thank God for you daily, realy apprecaiting all the works that you do for the glory of the Lord, we too blessed by Jesus Christ our Savior and King thank Him for continue blessing you as we do pray daily for that I am sorry for delaying sending the updates as i needed it was that i was so busy with many works here as you know, As already told you in many e-mails we are so blessed to have people coming to Jesus Christ daily, in these two new Churches planted in Kigali (capital of Rwanda) many people are coming to Jesus as you know we did already baptizing them twice that last time we baptized 18 and now we have more than 20 who will be baptized soon in December when you will be here in Rwanda (my upcoming trip),thank the Lord that in these Churches we have been disciple them and are all doing well, thank the Lord for the Orohans whom were attending schools in Muslim schools and now are not due to the support that you have been sending to us that enable us to help them to attend the studies in Christians school this is much facilitating all the works that we do as Muslim were teaching them how to attend their religion and were not sure if will continue to have them or not and now we have them full time and the time that are not in our hands are in the Hands of others whom we are trusting their teachings in which we are much praying to have our own school where will be having them all days teaching, and disciple them to because good followers of Jesus Christ trusting the Lord to open that door for having Primary and Secondary school for the Orphans i Rwanda. (we have plans to plant a Christian orphan village—see our website-project page)

Concerning Widows we thanmk the Lord for them as we do teaching and discilpe them to teach them sound doctrine and teaching them how they can help others who are not yet knowing this way of salvation to become good followers of Jesus Christ as the Lord helps we also helping them financialy and more on spiritual matters, we also teaching them how to stand and work on themselves so that they may be able to feed their families and escape what others are dealing with those trying to sell their bodies to have their own provisions we thank the Lord for your prayers that will open more doors to have enough to help these widows, the Lord is always wonderful to us in every situation provides what we do need, through healing sick people whom I am also one of them in many times when I do feeling Headak, and many pains in my chest in which i am now much better. all of these the Lord did and yet do more I thank you so much for all of what you stand with us by supporting 5 Orphans fully and all of them are at their end of the school year 2010 so please continue praying for more opened doors for more to support others and the Lord is much able, I do not have words to express on all of these works that Pour Out for Africa does may the Lord continue blessings you in all of those greatest works ,through the support that you are supporting me I thank you so much for continue praying for me and my family as well as to stand with me because without this support not easy to do what i am doing for now I pray that the lord may continue realizing more that will meet all of what are needed. the Lord is always the provider

I am so grateful to our Lord Jesus to have such amazing ministry partners in Africa! One of them is Pastor Habimana in the DR Congo who has planted over 100 churches in the midst of killing, raping, poverty, AIDS, etc. I have posted this week his weekly update to me. It is completely unedited so you can hear his authentic gospel heart through his broken English. Pastor Habimana speaks many languages, while his primary languages are French and Swahili. Thank you for the funds for orphans you sent. Through this short e-mail, I would like to send to you the report of eight churches planted from january up to now which belong to Hekima Baptist church. In the following days the report will be weekly. Those planted churches are the following:
1. Baraka baptist church 27 members

2. Kayanja Baptist church 78 members

3. Kibumba city baptist church 47 members

4. Hermon Baptist church 120 members

5. Shalom Baptist church 30 members

6. Umoja Baptist church 72 members

7 Tchondo Baptist church 40 members

8. Rubaya Baptist church 150 members

During the 10 previous months the evangelism door to door brought many persons to Jesus, 560 persons were witnessed and 44 were baptised, and 37 will be baptised in december. Among those who wer baptised 4 muslims believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and was baptised, 3 widows and 9 orphans also were baptised.

ANSWERED PRAYERSMuslims fighted Hekima church believers and leaders because of 4 muslims saved and being baptised. God our protector answered our prayers-Major (soldier) Benjamin Mugabo was poisoned, we prayed God to heal him and he was healed. Glory to God-The person at the name of Bisimwa Alex, his son was possessed by spirits, we prayed for him and he was healed.

TESTIMONY of a muslim woman who believed in Jesus Christ and being baptised.My name is Furaha Esther who was called FATUMA when I was muslim.When I was muslim everytime when pregnant, before deliver I had surgical intervention. When talking my problem with christian women, they adviced me to attend prayer group and they will be praying for me and that problem will not occur again. I do that secretly so that my husband and muslim could not know, I begin going there, and when I was pregnant I had a baby without surgical intervention. I thaked God for it. Sooner my children got sick I took them in prayers, in road I meet my husband who asked me where I came from with his children, without fearing I told him that I am coming from prayers. He told me to do not come again in his house. He told the whole history to his family and to my family and both families cursted me. I went to the pastor, telling him what happened to me , and he said to me: This is a right time for you to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He prayed to me and after one week they baptised me. From that time I had peace in my heart, but muslims continued to attack me with their spirits, but they didn't succeed. Sure I was aprisoner in Islam religion but after being saved by Jesus christ I have peace in my heart and free from Islam slavery. Today I am a servant of God witnessing my brothers and sisters in Islam religion.

Preaching the Gospel in Africa!

About two years ago we held a small stadium event in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Now, I have historically been somewhat skeptical of stadium events in that I am concerned that people leave after holding up their hands, saying a prayer, and simply going back to their old lost lives without truly becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. However, before this event hundreds of pastors agreed with our ministry to help in gathering them in after they prayed to receive Jesus. They were very organized and after each of three days of the event they faithfully brought those who came forward to a designated location, broke them into groups and ministered to them and arranged for follow up. It was so very exciting to see thousands of poverty stricken, civil war trodden, weary people come to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ!

A believing officer of the Congolese military headed up the security for this event. There has been such wrong done by so many different militias in the DRC, that it was refreshing to see a remnant of believers stand for righteousness during this event. Some of the soldiers even appeared on stage and sang a song that basically said this: “We have guns and bullets, but only Jesus can bring peace to the Congo!” The musicians and dancers ushered in the presence of the Lord as they ministered to Him and the people. The last day of the conference they gave me a new translator as our other one was detained and arrived late. I asked him if he had a loud enough voice and that I was preaching on John 3: “You must be born again.” He then told me that when he was finished preaching with me that they would be born again in their houses across the street from the stadium! And the Holy Spirit certainly did not let us down! After three days about 30,000 Congolese heard the gospel of Jesus Christ! When I preach the gospel I do not give a message with the main goal of bringing people forward so I can report great numbers. No, I preach sin-deadly, hell-hot and forever, the cross of Jesus and His glorious resurrection, repentance of sin, and full faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. I tell them that it is hard to follow Jesus and He promises us forgiveness of sins and suffering to follow Him. I believe the Holy Spirit coupled by the preaching of the word brought a dear Muslim lady forward to talk with me afterward. She took off her headscarf and told me she was going to follow Jesus and leave Islam!

Over three days we had about 1,500 come forward to pray to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Then after the Pastors took them for initial discipleship we waited for reports from our primary pastor contacts. Since the event nine new churches have been planted and I have personally visited one of them. In that church and some of the others that already existed I have met many who came to Jesus in that gospel stadium event! Many really are today following Jesus---Hallelujah! We are praying to have another stadium event in 2011 or early 2012.

It takes a lot of prayer, time, organization, and money for such an effort so we plan them with much lead time. Please pray for us to incorporate another event according to the Lord’s timing along with our other gospel and orphan outreaches in Rwanda and the DRC. You can see some pictures of this event. One of the things I do in my work in Africa is equip the saints for the work of sharing the gospel. Today, so many professing to follow Jesus think this is an optional work. For example, about 98% of professing born again Christians in America have decided this is not something they want to do nor will they do. They still claim to be followers of Jesus, but Jesus tells His followers that He sends them out with the gospel. The harvest was great then and so it is today. There were few laborers then and there are few laborers today. So, when our Lord Jesus tells His followers to pray for Him to send laborers out into the field here is an important point to consider. Some might think that though they avoid going out into the field, they can pray to the Lord that He send others out. He doesn't ask those who refuse to go out to pray for laborers, no it is those who are obediently going out who are to ask the Lord to send others to help them. Those who refuse to go out with the gospel are in disobedience and do not have the authority in Christ to pray for others to go with the gospel. So here is a question: Is it appropriate for you to pray to our Savior for laborers? Though I would be very thankful if you came with us to Africa, you don't have to go to Africa to "go out". When you leave your home or church you are entering the mission field. So many are afraid to be out in the field as sheep amongst wolves. How can I say such a thing, and if it is true why wouldn't it be ok to be afraid of being sheep amongst wolves? First, statistics show that the overwhelming number of those who do not share their faith in Jesus avoid this glorious calling because of fear. Secondly, as sheep we need to be close to the Shepherd. Where is the Shepherd? He is out in the field of harvest waiting for His people to trust and obey Him and to walk in faith which is the opposite of fear. Sadly, while the Savior is coming many are perishing and most believers refuse to labor in the field. It is my prayer to our Savior, as a laborer, that you become the laborer our Shepherd called you to be! In an hour of fear and uncertainty this will give you a very wide place to stand with confidence in your Redeemer and your purpose for living at this time in history! For the rest of this article go to our blog as I finish explaining what Jesus told His followers. Mark 1:16 And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” 18 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Our Lord tells His followers something very simple and important to understand. He found regular men doing a regular job and told them those days are over and new days have come! They will no longer be regular and normal because now they will follow Him which will be distinguished by the fact that He will make them fishers of men. The plain truth is that the disciples of Jesus are fishers of men. Yes, this is an analogy given to fishermen by trade. Yet regardless whether they are called fishers of men or men out with the gospel the meaning is the same---people who follow Jesus are fishers of men. Are you a fisher of men? If the answer is not then you are not a follower of Jesus. Thankfully, He offers forgiveness and repentance of sin, so that today you can be cleansed by our Savior and follow Him. One way you will know if you are is that you will have the desire to tell others about the Savior!

Psalm 82:³Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. ⁴Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

The first time Africa showed up on my radar screen was a normal day some six or seven years ago when I was reading daily news services. I was shocked when I read of a Congolese militia soldier who brutally killed a mother’s two little girls right in front of her! I laid out on my floor and began to cry out to the Lord for this poor lady. I then began to learn about the situation in the DR Congo.

The short story is that as a result of the Rwanda genocide in 1994 the Hutu Militia, those who killed about 1,000,000 Tutsi men, women and children in 100 days, fled into the DR Congo. There they, many militia groups cropped up and took sides against one another. It doesn’t help that these areas of DRC are mineral rich. These militia are organized, well financed, demonic animals and caught in the crossfire are innocent civilian populations. Gang rape of men, women and children is common and is used as a weapon of manipulation, terror and war in their bizarre manner of dominance. So, I was praying and crying out to the Lord, but what more could I do?

What can a Jewish American do to help these precious souls under such oppression on the other side of the world? Since asking these questions I have been reminded that little is much when Abba is in it! The Lord began to supernaturally introduce me to pastors who have been planting churches in Rwanda and the DRC. They have been taking care of orphans, widows, raped women, and others who are suffering in the midst of this horror and trouble since it began in 1994.

I have had the honor of living Psalm 82 by bringing teams to the DRC and coming alongside Pastor Habimana in the DRC who has planted 91 churches, many of which are right in the midst of all this trouble. I have listened to, cried with, spoken to and given comfort to many widows and orphans who have experienced trouble like most have never imagined.

We have been going to the DRC for about four years and have seen the Lord Jesus bring so much glory to our Father in heaven! We have preached the gospel in a stadium, the streets, churches, and refugee areas and seen thousands receive Jesus and become His disciples! He will bring justice to those who are these unrepentant afflicters of such demonic wickedness! Until then our Savior sends His Holy Spirit and us to comfort and restore many who are afflicted and needy. So how can you help me, to help them? As the Lord leads I would direct you to our website to see some pictures and videos to help you understand our work and get more information.

Additionally, I am thankful to announce something good that our government is doing---something good what a concept!

The US Congress has passed bills to begin to address the fuel for these militia’s power and money--the mineral business. I have attached two articles, one which explains the most recent atrocity where Pastor Habimana oversees churches and the other explains a recent bill passed by Congress. Please pray about contacting your Senate and Congressional Reps and let them know what you think about these precious souls who need our help. If your Representative has voted for these bills give them some encouragement and explain that you are praying for American missionaries who work with churches in these areas and that you want to see more done. It is nice to have something good to say about and to our government officials for a change. So thank them for what they have done, encourage them to do more, and it is important they know that you are behind them in this regard!

Psalm 41: 1-2 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

So many followers of Jesus today are very concerned, and legitimately so, about the days ahead. However, the “need” to prepare can be a bottomless pit into which our adversary would like to push us. I think it is wise to prepare, even with provisions, if the Holy Spirit has led His child that way. But then how much is enough? And with what do I fill my little corner of creation? Is food for me and my family enough? What about others and how about water, and heat for the cold, and what if it gets really bad and I need to defend myself, and what if the bad guys have a better plan than me?
Here is where I begin to look further into the Lord’s word for His plan of preparation and here is the direction our family is taking.
We are today considering the poor. We are going to them, encouraging them, giving them resources for food and clothes, doing all we can to sow into their lives in a way that can only be described by them as this “Now we know the Lord has not forgotten us, because He has sent you.” That is what a widow, who had been raped by men in Rwanda during the genocide there, told one of our team members at a special meeting we had for widows.
There are countless stories I could share of times in churches, the streets of slums, garbage dumps where animals and people try to find a meal, and the Lord has sent us there to comfort and bless people.
In one church service in the slums of Nairobi we asked the pastor to buy some food for all who were there (about 50). They bought many loaves of white bread and a soda for each person. You should have seen the looks on their faces. It was the look of someone in America sitting down to a steak dinner, something these have never had in their life. I have heard people say “but Don there are poor right here in America.” That is true and we should help whoever the Lord gives to help. But think of this, most poor in America have never experienced or imagined “poor” like this. My wife, who has been seeing pictures and listening to my stories for years, recently went with me to Kenya. She was so overwhelmed on this occasion in the Nairobi slums that she could hardly speak the rest of the day after we returned to our hotel.
These are the ones to whom the Lord has sent me. If you look at the world today poverty and famine are sweeping the globe like King Jesus said it would in the time of the birth pangs just before His return. I cannot help them all, but I can help the ones the Lord has given me and Lord willing I will be faithful in this regard and on their behalf.
Many use to believe, and I think tragically many still do, that poverty and famine could not cover the landscape of America. I personally believe that it probably will, maybe sooner than later.
Proverbs 19: 17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.
Here is another great passage that tells us how to invest wisely. Think of those who have invested in banks and other financial instruments. How have many of them done in the last few years? Conversely, an investment in heaven’s economy always pays back with dividends! This is our investment strategy—to have mercy on the poor. We are certainly not rich by American standards, but compared to these in Africa we are in pretty good shape today.
So, me and my house are preparing mostly by considering those who are in poverty and famine today. From what I see in Psalm 41 since my heart is motivated by the love of Jesus and faith in Him my future during time of trouble is already secure. He has promised me deliverance and I will simply trust Him at His word. Oh how I love Jesus, Oh how I love Jesus, Oh how I love Jesus, because He first loved me! He loves the poor and helpless too, and I want to show them!

Do I Have Godly Character?

Psalm 68: ⁵A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

As a disciple of Jesus Christ it is my greatest desire to be acquiring godly character. For this to be so the things that are important to my Father in heaven must become important to me---right? It is easy to make my lips move and say I am a follower of Jesus. But, it is the fruit of my life that determines what is in my heart. Didn’t Jesus tell us that a good tree bears good fruit?

That is why our ministry began helping orphans in Africa. About six years ago my Abba spoke to me by His Spirit to my spirit. He reminded me that pure and undefiled religion ministers to orphans and that I did not (James 1:27). I then proceeded to tell Him something that He had obviously overlooked-the fact that I did not know any orphans. Graciously, He then instructed me that if I would have the faith to obey Him---He could work out the details of locating some orphans for me to go and bless, and love, and pray for, and buy food for, and believe Him for great things for, etc. So now we have been to many African countries and today have different orphan outreaches in Kenya, Rwanda, and the DR Congo. Other than seeing a sinner on their way to hell being saved and set free by Jesus, I cannot think of anything better that helping hungry, hopeless, desperate orphans and sharing with them food, hope, and an environment of safety---oh dear brethren THEY ARE CHILDREN! By grace we help some eat, hear the gospel, go to school, buy clothes, but here is the best! I am trusting King Jesus, who by the way loves to please our Father, to help us plant an orphan village with housing, vocational training, farming and livestock, and a Bible College, JUST FOR ORPHANS! It is in Rwanda and is called the Poured Out For Africa Gospel Village. Rwanda has about 10,000,000 people and guess how many are orphans? About 840,000 are fatherless, which makes up almost ten percent of their population---can you imagine? So please pray for me as I want to partner with our Father in heaven to be a father to the fatherless. It is the least I can do since I had no Father in heaven until Jesus saved me and through Him I was adopted into His eternal family. We should all understand what it means to need the Father’s love. POFA also help some widows in Africa and has plans to integrate them into our Gospel Village work.

We are looking for new Kingdom partnerships who will help us advance the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. I obey the Lord and leave my home and family to preach the gospel, make disciples, and minister to orphans and widows. The time has come to lay treasures up in heaven more than ever as the treasures here are fast depreciating in value. We take a very small salary from this ministry and the rest goes to doing the Kingdom work in the field of harvest.

Return Trip To Rwanda & DR Congo! OCTOBER 2010

Dear Followers of King Messiah Jesus,

Praise and bless His holy Name! I am so blessed in this letter to share what we are planning for this fall. Can you believe we are now planning for the autumn of 2010?

Well, we have been to Rwanda and the DR Congo once already this year.

However, we only went to about seven of the ninety one churches Pastor Habimana planted in Goma in the DR Congo. Also, our friend and colaborer Pastor Lewi has planted many churches in Bukavu, DRC. You may remember that this is the city of a couple million people that hosted our stadium event in 2008 in which about fifteen hundred came to the Lord. On our last trip we did not have enough time to go to Bukavu and many of our friends were very disappointed. So, Lord willing, we will go to some of the churches we missed in Goma and then boat down beautiful Lake Kivu to minister the gospel in Bukavu. There will be rejoicing and reunion as we visit our friends and brethren!

Both of these cities are still recovering, in the midst of great poverty, from many years of brutal internal war that is I think best described as a genocidal stalemate. Five and a half million were killed in twelve years making it the deadliest war since WW2. What a people that need grace and mercy from the loving kindness of our SAVIOR JESUS!

We customarily begin our trip in Rwanda which of course was the genocide that sparked the trouble in DR Congo and Burundi. As I write this letter I weep over the trouble and hopelessness and the tears turn to those of joy at the love and mercy we can take to them that only the true and living God provides! In Rwanda we start by going to the Genocide Memorial that details the horrible atrocities. This prepares our hearts to overflow with compassion so that we can then go to the people with the healing in His wings!

Also, while in Rwanda we will continue to meet with government officials and attorneys and others who are helping us with the necessary details that pave the way for our Poured Out For Africa Gospel Village for orphans. Please join with us in prayer for this holy work of our Abba in heaven. This work is moving slower than I would like, but there is progress and for that I am thankful.

The Lord has given me a team of CPA’s, attorneys, businessmen, and other wise counselors, that are necessary to make sure we have a “kosher” foundation that people can give into with great confidence we will be successful. For example, my attorneys in Rwanda and Houston have helped me understand what I needed so I could establish the best name for the orphan village. We have now filed the necessary paperwork here and officially have the name POURED OUT FOR AFRICA GOSPEL VILLAGE legally registered and will file for an INGO (International NonGovernment Organization) in Rwanda at the appropriate time.

Dear Family of Jesus Followers,

What a great report I have for you regarding our work in Kenya! This trip went so far beyond our expectations that I can only say “How great is our God”! This letter will be for the purpose of giving glory to Jesus Christ our soon coming King!

Our ten member team arrived in Nairobi and Pastor Daniel Oyoko, our Kenya ministry partner, met us at the airport. We checked into our rooms to get some rest before taking the eight hour journey to Homa Bay. On the way there we stopped to minister at a church we planted when our car broke down a couple of years ago. Can you imagine, planting a new church as our car broke down and we preached the gospel at the roadside makeshift mechanic shop?

After our time there we finished our travel to Homa Bay on the shores of the majestic Lake Victoria. Our mission was to preach the gospel to what we thought would be a few thousand people over four days. Instead, we preached to 16,000 people! You should have seen it---it was like a five or six hour Jesus party that kept getting bigger with each passing day!

Well known professional Christian singers and dancers were brought in from different parts of Kenya and they were anointed and precious to the Lord. We worshiped, sang, danced, and saw the glory of God come down from heaven! During our four day event approximately 750-1000 prayed to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord!

There were times when we knew we were in His presence in a way that can only be described as heavenly. Oh how I love Jesus because He first loved me! He was so kind to us and so real to us and so there with us that it was like something out of the Bible---and why should that surprise us? That is what I want more to be normal in my life---the manifest, He is pleased with us, presence of the Lord Jesus!

So many were blessed, touched, saved, transformed, healed, and set free, that I know we were truly doing the work of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. And friends, that is called LIVING! Are you living today? Are you seeking after His righteousness first and foremost in your life?

We also ministered to orphans and widows at the First Baptist Pearland Orphanage bringing them clothing, love, and fun activities for part of two days. These precious ones need our ongoing love and prayer.

We have added pictures to our website and blog and have a new staff member working with our ministry who will be sending updates. We will have some new media sources for you to follow to get a better idea of our work. We will be on Face Book and YouTube along with our blog and website. Luke 24:6He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. 11And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. 25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

Why have these passages been grouped together in this teaching?

The reason is to demonstrate how important it is for followers of Jesus to receive the prophetic word of our Lord Jesus--especially during times of climatic fulfillment! For how many centuries had the prophets been writing about the Messiah Who would come and fulfill the (1st coming) prophetic word? And yet the righteous women, instead of bringing tambourines to the tomb, brought spices for a dead man. They had to be reminded by angels of the fulfilled prophetic word.
Then the apostles dismissed the prophetic word from the prophetic sisters, who had spoken with angels, as an idle tale. And to add insult to injury, the brothers on their way to Emmaus preached to Jesus about His own crucifixion, though their message was incomplete as they left out the most important part----He is not here FOR HE IS RISEN AS HE SAID! Jesus told them their problem: they were foolish and slow of heart to believe the prophetic word. Today, what can we do---is there a way to avoid this foolishness of unbelief while the prophetic word is being fulfilled a 2nd time? Hallelujah, the answer is Yes and Amen! The Lord has given us the formula to be alert and sober minded during this time. It is amazingly simple and leaves Him with the heavy lifting. The answer is to walk by His AMAZING GRACE!

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

The saving grace of Jesus Christ teaches us to deny wickedness and embrace and walk in godliness. It keeps us safe in this time of foolishness and trouble. It also gives us an understanding of our times and allows for us to not be surprised and unprepared for His coming. To the contrary we will be burning bushes doing exploits and looking for the fulfillment of His prophetic word----HALLELUJAH!!!

How do I access this amazing grace? ASK---ask, seek, knock, love and pursue Jesus with all your heart and love people today. Our Savior commanded us to watch for Him to come for us in the clouds: Matthew 24: 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. Do these things and He will fill you with His Spirit of grace and you will one day hear: well done thou good and faithful servant!

It is time once again to board the international flight for Africa from Texas! I am so excited and let me tell you why. From the time we get to the airport the mission begins. We take gospel tracts with us and begin getting out the gospel at the ticket counter, through the airport, and on the plane, which is just a warm up for when we touchdown in Kenya!

You see the time is almost up for us to make disciples of Jesus Christ---there will be many things we can do when Jesus comes that we cannot do now, but one thing we will not be able to do is share the gospel with a sinner and teach them to walk by faith in Jesus. And in Kenya there is a hunger for the things of the Kingdom of Heaven that is quite unique and not often seen in America.

There are ten of us going on this gospel mission and for the first time one of them is my wife! I am praising Jesus that my wife is going with me on her first African mission trip along with eight other dear brothers and sisters.

There we will work with Pastor Daniel Oyoko who has planted forty four churches, most of which have been planted with the partnership of our ministry and our church in Pearland, TX. Additionally, our good friend and ministry partner John McTernan is one of the people that introduced me to Pastor Daniel. John sends him gospel tracts and Bibles, and we even took some of John's tracts into a prison in Kenya that were translated into Swahili.

The fruit we have seen of prostitutes and drunkards, children, orphans, young, old, men and women come to Jesus over the last four years has been remarkable! And I have some good news---the best is yet to come! Isn't that nice to hear in the midst of all this trouble and chaos---the best is yet to come?
Don't ever forget something---if the Lord has commanded you to do something, a crazy, demonic, God hating world cannot stop you! He has commanded us to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them His word. In many parts of Africa there is a harvest for just such work. Of course we should continue to do so in America, but I like going where the harvest is plentiful and filling the basket with fruit!

During this trip we will be involved in a multi-faceted outreach. Here are just some of the things we will be doing:

---Americans and Kenyans loving King Jesus by obeying, singing, praying, praising!
---Sharing gospel tracts!
---Preaching open air to thousands!
---Teaching the Word at a Pastor’s Conference!
---Giving away 1000 pair of reading glasses!
---Orphan ministry: providing clothing for 120 orphans!
---Sharing gospel with and teaching orphans!
---Sharing gospel with and teaching widows!
---Giving to widows!

Our Kenya dates are June 13-24---please pray for all of these outreaches and those the Holy Spirit will show us while we are there. When we return we will have a glorious report Lord willing of the Kingdom fruit. And if you participate in praying and/or giving you will be part of the fruit bearing for this glorious Savior JESUS!

Hello Dear Friends,
I am sorry the letter is getting out so late---I am writing after returning from Rwanda and the DRC which pushed this letter back a bit. What a glorious trip to Africa! In terms of having a group with so many spiritual gifts operating together, this may have been the best trip yet!

During our time there we ministered to so many different people with different needs and struggles that I am confident our Father in heaven is pleased. You see His grace goes to the low places. His love reaches down to the thirsty, hungry, beaten down, helpless, poor, orphans, widows, and ministering to these is pure and undefiled religion.

We met a lady in the DR Congo who had been raped at different times and had two babies from these attackers. She is raising them and was recently made homeless. Our team was able to pay for a place for her to rent for over a year.
One of the pastors confirmed her situation and many others we encountered. Pastor Habimana in the DRC has planted 91 churches, ten since we were there last year. He has offered to teach me how to plant churches in Africa if I can visit him for two weeks next year. So far my work has been to come along side church planters and help disciple pastors and church members.

We ministered in churches where the village had been overcome with militias, many of the husbands murdered and the women raped. There we saw rejoicing and love for Jesus, and love for us as we came to comfort and remind them of their future in Jesus Christ our King and Savior! These precious ones have a faith in Jesus that teaches me a thing or two.

Of course in Rwanda and the DRC we had an opportunity to minister to many orphans as well. We were able to feed them and teach the things of our Savior Jesus to them too. Some of them just need someone to hug them and tell them that Jesus loves them.
So much was added to the work from bringing three ladies with us. They ministered to widows and children in ways that would be impossible for the three men on the team. At one point they did the hair and nails of seventy six widows while listening to their stories of horror during the time of genocide and war. What comforters these ladies on our team were, and how their faith was enriched by hearing of the delivering power of Jesus Christ from these precious widows.

Also, many came to saving faith in Jesus during our time in Africa. Over 200 prayed to receive Jesus as Savior! Lord willing we will have many reports of baptisms that come from this mission effort. I will update those as they come from Africa.
Regarding our orphan village project, our project architect went with us on this trip and was a great help. He took pictures of the proposed land for the work and will be making drawings for the buildings for the project. We are also praying for a man and his wife as a possible project director. They would help us with the details of the work of planting the village. Please pray for and with us for this project.
Our next trip is coming fast as we look to Kenya in June. I will turn the next letter around fast so you can pray with us for the work there in Kenya.

Up Comming Rwanda Trip April 2010

Dear Fellow Followers of Jesus,

Greetings in His glorious name! Lord willing this month will be so very exciting and fruitful. We are going to Rwanda and the DR Congo April 24-May 6. This letter will explain some of our mission---please pray for us and those to whom we will minister. There are six of us on the team.
Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, build up those in the body of Messiah Jesus, and bless orphans and widows. I also have some information for those who are supporting, or interested in supporting, our orphan project.
Soon after we arrive in Kigali, Rwanda we will go to the genocide museum so our team members can see the horror that this little country experienced in 1994. Next we will go to Goma and then Bukavu in the DR Congo. Our ministry partners in the Congo have such a big job and have so little in the way of physical means. Yet, they have the Creator of the Universe who sends His mighty Spirit to these precious hungry souls.
The DR Congo is still recovering from years of their own horror which left 5,000,000 dead in the wake of it. The number of people who have open hearts to the Savior is a great blessing for those who love people like our Savior commanded! The number of orphans and widows who have lived through unimaginable suffering that need the comfort of the people of God is humbling, and may I say---we need your prayers!
When we return to Kigali, before returning to Texas, we will work amongst the churches in Rwanda, and will be in the streets with the gospel winning precious souls to their Savior Jesus! Lord willing, then we will see them baptized in rivers and brought into the congregations for discipleship.
Our final day will be spent working with orphans. This will include meeting with the government officials who are working with Pastor Lewi and our ministry to donate possibly 100 acres of land! You see, we want to see our Father in heaven establish an orphan village that will ultimately be home to 250 orphans!
Psalm 68:5: A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
This village will not just feed and clothe these children of God. There is a vision the Lord has given me that goes way beyond the traditional orphanage. We want to train these children to be all our Father in heaven has created them to be! Our vision is to equip them as followers of Jesus, and then: farming, livestock, crops, classical Christian education including the arts, literature, and science.
Lord willing, they will be equipped to then lead as they leave upon completion of their time in this godly family village environment in areas of church growth, government, business, military, etc. We want to change a country and then a continent for Jesus Christ!!! I have two questions:

1) Is our Savior Jesus not big enough?
2) Will you join us in prayerful partnership?

Missions 2010

Dear Followers of Jesus,
We are well into2010---do you have a vision and plan for this year? Are you going to be preparing for the coming of our King Jesus? Are you walking by grace? If you look at your Bible in the New Covenant book of Titus we are told in chapter two that the grace of God teaches us to look for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ!
Is that your heart for 2010? I can guarantee you of something---it certainly is His!
…For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”Luke 19:10
Psalm 68: 5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.

Oh friends, did you know that American Christians spend more money on dog food, make up, sports, and many other temporal things than they do on missions, orphans and widows, and other important eternal Kingdom matters. Do not forget that in the next life it is what was invested into the eternal that will last!
Pray about coming with us on mission, or praying for our work, or giving toward the Kingdom work. We are going to Rwanda and the DR Congo in April and there are four people going with us who still need prayer and financial help. The trip is April 24-May 6---will you pray about your part in the work?
Also, please pray for the Rwanda Gospel Village project. We have submitted our plans to the government and are awaiting approval for the amount of land we have asked. They have told us they will give us land and are determining how much. We have asked for 100 acres.
Many months ago the Spirit of the Lord told me that a university would come alongside to help. Just a few weeks ago the Professor of the Architecture Dept of Washington State University came to Houston and met with myself and a man on our board of directors and told us they will help with our project!
They want to help with architecture, vocational training, farming and livestock! Our dear brother in Christ, Scott Jones who introduced us to WSU, will head this part of the project and is one of those in need of funds for this trip. All of these relationships are being established by our great Abba in Heaven!
Please pray, pray, pray for these precious orphans to have this village established for the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ! I will have another Rwanda/DR Congo trip update in our April letter.

Ghana Mission Trip 2010

Hello Dear Followers of Jesus Our Savior,
Our Ghana trip was absolutely incredible! In this report I will describe some of it and also share some news on the Rwanda Orphan Facility. Be sure of this---our Redeemer Jesus lives and those who follow Him will not be ashamed, disappointed, or fearful of the future!
When we arrived in Ghana we prepared for a day in Accra the Capitol. I went to a church service there that was so full of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit that I got a good Jesus jolt before going up to the Northern and more Muslim part of the country.
In the North we based out of a Baptist hospital compound that gives incredible medical care to the poor, sick, and suffering in this poverty stricken area. It provides the only medical care of its kind within one hundred miles! This hospital and the American doctors that give of themselves to serve there are truly godly and amazing.
Seeing thousands of patients a week, they not only give of themselves, but they also share the Savior Jesus with the many including Muslims that come for help. I preached at the hospital one morning as they rang the bell to notify all present waiting on care that the devotions were about to begin.
Thankfully, the Lord gave me something in common with many at the hospital that day. You see, the night before, I began to get sick with a bug I picked up there. By the middle of the night I was spending most of my time in the bathroom praying at the toilet. So when I went to preach at the hospital in the morning I was sick too! This gave me a good starting off point to tell the people that not only were many of us sick that morning, but that the world is sick with sin.
Well, you should have seen the harvest! About 50 people prayed to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Here is the best part---many who publicly prayed to receive Jesus were Muslims, some in full religious garb--- hat, tunic and all! We saw more Muslims publicly pray to receive Jesus on this trip than ever before in this ministry! There is a wonderful and authentic Chaplaincy Department there who begins discipleship with these precious souls.
After I led a Pastor’s conference for one day we went to a Muslim village where one of the Pastors, who was formerly a Muslim, had planted a church. We preached the gospel in the street and saw about the same number as those at the hospital pray to receive Jesus. Again, some were in Muslim clothing. Folks this is huge---these precious souls will go back home and be told to leave or suffer other types of persecution. This is a move of the Holy Spirit and I am asking you to please pray for these precious ones!
There is much more the Lord did, but to get the whole thing you need to come with us to Africa! I am going to post pictures and video on my blog and website soon. So keep an eye on both the website and the blog.
The Rwanda orphan facility is moving along well. This week I sent our ministry plans to our Rwandan Ministry Partner who will look them over and then submit them to the Rwandan Government for approval. They have told us they are ready to issue licenses and permits for the land. More people are interested to look at this project for support. Please continue to pray and I will keep you posted.

W. Africa Report

I recently returned from a mission trip to a small country in W Africa called Burkina Faso. This trip also included a very strategic twelve hour layover in Dakkar, Senegal. Our small three person team left November 12 and returned November 21.

There we saw many demonstrations of the powerful grace of God through His only begotten Son---our resurrected Savior Jesus Christ! This grace in which we stand delivered believers, saved Muslims, and left many planted and watered seeds for our Father to give the increase in the future.

Most would see a twelve hour layover in a third world Muslim country as a liability not an asset. But the Lord opened a great Kingdom door for us in Senegal and we saw great things in just a few short hours! Our travel agent has a relative who is a teacher at, what we found out later, is the premier boarding school for children of missionaries who are commissioned in difficult countries in Africa.

Very quickly the Lord positioned us to minister to some of the administrators at the school. They had trauma from past experiences, some going back to childhood. Our generation is one of hurt people with broken hearts who have been then oppressed and taken captive by the devil. Also, in the 95% Muslim and witchcraft populated Senegal many of the people attempt to place powerful curses on the believers. So we quickly began to minister the word of life as found in 2 Timothy 2:24-26.2 Timothy 2: 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

The power of our Abba’s grace was so being demonstrated that we were taken from one person to the next to pray, share the powerful words of grace we were given, and to actually see our Savior rebuke demons off of the lives of people! By the time we left we had seen brothers and sisters set free and edified and many children at the school heard a message of urgency to seek the Lord Jesus with their whole heart! And this was just the layover to go to Burkina Faso!

We knew that when we arrived--there would be spiritual warfare, but the Lord reminded us in Senegal that He is able! We met our Kingdom contact Ouattara Balagassina (Lassina). He is a man of God who works with one of the world’s largest Bible translators and is one of the two hundred out of the forty thousand believers from the Dogossee people in Burkina Faso. The Dogossee are our primary work in Burkina Faso because so few are saved. We work in an equipping capacity with about sixty out of the two hundred who are saved.

We went to them to encourage, equip, and challenge them to go to their people with the gospel. One of the pastors told us that we were angels sent by our Lord Jesus to tell them to WAKE UP as Jesus the King is coming soon! We saw an openness amongst the Muslims that was amazing and many were saved. There is another issue we have been dealing with that is becoming more prevalent as a tool of the devil in many Muslim countries.

In many Muslim countries the Bible translators have compromised as they have translated the name of Jehovah as allah. They do this because they say there is no other name for God in their languages. The Lord has shown me many Biblical reasons this is an abomination and must be stopped. Three years ago I began praying that the Lord would introduce me to a Bible translator in Africa so I could discuss this with them. We were also trying to determine what people group to engage there.

At this time the Holy Spirit used a missionary to introduce me to Lassina who is from one of the people groups we were considering and is also a Bible translator! Glory to God, he repented of calling Jehovah by the name of allah and has submitted my teachings of why this is against God’s ways to one of the world’s largest Bible translators! They are considering changing this practice so please pray!
Oh please see believer in Jesus---the time is now for us to shine brightly and do great exploits for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!!!
Daniel 12:3: 3 Those who are wise shall shine

And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

Daniel 11: 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

A small team of us are leaving for Burkina Faso in West Africa November 12-22. There we will take the gospel to the Dogossee people. For newcomers to our newsletter, this is a group that is classified by missionaries as “unreached” as only one hundred out of forty thousand believe in Jesus. Our ministry partner there is one of those one hundred.
Incredibly, he has a master’s degree in linguistics and has created a written language for these precious souls. The Lord has gifted him to translate books of the Bible into this language and he is teaching the Dogossee people how to read this language. He does this by teaching them the Bible books he has translated into the language that the Lord used him to create! Please pray for many of the Dogossee to be saved while we are in Burkina Faso.
Then on January 9-19 we will go to Ghana with the gospel. We are going to visit a missionary hospital there. I will share more about it in my next letter. Also, we will be leading a pastor conference on evangelism and a dear lady from our team is going to lead a ladies’ conference. We will be going door to door with the gospel and having an outdoor evening gospel service---please pray!!!
It is so very wonderful---all of the one hundred twenty orphans at the orphanage in Kenya are sponsored with monthly supporters! Plans are in full swing for the Rwanda orphan village. The Lord raised up an architect who is already working on the drawings. I was waiting in the Nairobi, Kenya airport and the Lord introduced me to a young man who was there working with a ministry making drawings for an orphanage. He was blessed by our vision and has begun working on the drawings for the Rwanda orphans!
A Christian businessman has already agreed to sponsor the water well for our project and to talk with other businessmen who may want to help. Lord willing, I will have the plans drawn up for the orphan project to submit to the government in the next two weeks. Please pray for the government to give the 100 acres we are requesting for the project.
Listen folks, there is not much time left to do this kind of Kingdom work before the King returns. Please pray about partnering with us so we can accomplish the vision of making disciples and blessing orphans and widows.

Rwanda/DR Congo African Partner

The Democratic Republic Of Congo was the first African country the Lord put on my “radar screen.” I knew nothing about it until the beginning of this decade. The Lord showed me the horror and tragedy of the highest casualty war since WW2. The Lord raised up a ministry partner for us who is a Congolese Tutsi man who left for Rwanda in 1994 to minister life to the survivors of the Rwandan Genocide. This human tragedy, that took 1,000,000 lives in 100 days, spawned the horrible civil wars in Burundi and the DR Congo that have taken over 5,000,000 lives. Today Pastor Muhoza Lewi and our ministry, Poured Out For Africa, work together for the cause of Jesus Christ serving Rwanda, the DR Congo, and open doors in the form of standing invitations await our future work in Burundi and Tanzania! Pastor Lewi has planted twenty four churches, ministers to hundreds of orphans and has introduced us to working relationships with literally thousands of churches in Rwanda and the DR Congo! You can see the DR Congo Soccer Stadium Gospel Event on our website on the video page: There we preached to 30,000 people and saw approximately 1,500 pray to receive Jesus as Lord! We also have seen the 450 pastors, who supported this effort, plant nine new churches from the event! We are currently working on one special project, which I will discuss soon, and have others waiting in His wings!

Kenya: Pastor Daniel Oyoko is the first African Pastor to whom the Lord introduced me back in 2005. I was introduced to him through some friends and heard of the incredible work he was doing there! The Lord told me to minister to orphans. At that particular time I had no orphans, but God introduce me to Pastor Daniel who lives in Kenya, Africa and ministers to about 120 orphans!

The vision is unfolding!

since we started working together he has planted additional twenty four churches. He now also has a 120 bed orphanage with a fully functioning water well and school! Through our vision and partnership First Baptist Church Pearland, TX built this facility. We frequently go to Kenya, preach the gospel, equip pastors, and minister to orphans and widows. Praise King Jesus for His more than abundant grace! How did this all happen? By praying GOD would bring the resources and he did. There are so many new opportunities like this for anyone to get involved and help bless the orphans and widows.

Poured Out For Africa is an evangelical ministry founded by Pastor Don Schwarz in the Houston TX area. We exist to preach the gospel to the lost, disciple believers in Jesus, and to minister to orphans and widows.
